On average, it takes around 3 to 4 weeks to build a new website. With this said however, the pace of any project is set by each client. How much input you can provide during the initial stages, your availability with feedback, how soon the content is ready (If you are supplying the copy) all affect the swiftness of completion.

Its huge market share is due to the systems flexibility and ease of use. And before you begin to worry, we’ll happily teach you how to manage WordPress and help you along the way.

Yes! We try our utmost to build our websites to make it easy for clients to update and maintain themselves. We also provide you with a training session to help get you on your way. In addition however, we also offer WordPress maintenance and support, so if you do not have the time, we are here to help.
Yes we can, and we suggest it! We recommend you let us keep your websites software up to date on a monthly basis, as outdated websites can be hacked or break very easily. Furthermore, you could even let us assist you with content updates (product updates, gallery uploads and annual website rejuvenation for example). Absolutely! Having a mobile-friendly website is a given now days. All of our websites are fully responsive, meaning they will work on all modern smart devices.
For once-off payment website projects we ask that you pay a 50% deposit and then the remaining fee, once the project is completed. For the monthly payment websites, we need 100% payment upfront as this service works on a month-to-month basis.
A lot! Your input and feedback is crucial to the design process. We start with a questionnaire and some templates for you to choose from before you make payment. Primarily, we take initiative and build you a first draft of the website, then you get two revisions of that first draft. This is when you get to add your input, share ideas and make the necessary changes.
We provide two solutions; either you send through all the copy via a word document or our in-house copywriter can write up professional, optimised copy for your website.
You may host your website wherever you please. Once your website is completed, we can move it to any hosting provider that accommodates WordPress, of which almost all of them do. You may also host your website with us. If you are looking for us to maintain your website monthly with The Web Shack, we recommend you use our hosting services. This ensures all services are under one roof, easily accessible and readily available when needed. With this said however, this is not essential. Please note; all monthly payment websites are hosted with us.
We are only an email away! We’re here to help you as much or as little as you need, and we won’t disappear once the website is launched. We’ve been part of the digital industry for many years, and we aren’t going anywhere anytime soon. We also offer ad-hoc maintenance for small once-off changes – so email us at any time.
For once off payment websites, when your website is completed and you have paid in full, the website is fully owned by you, all the file’s databases, copy, artwork etc. can be sent to you and you may host with any service provider you may choose. Obviously, just because all the files are owned by you, does not mean you do not have to host with us or let us maintain your website:)
If you have opted for a monthly all-inclusive website, you may not move your website or files away from The Web Shack, unless you buy the website from us, which will be calculated based on our once-off payment website pricing.
The only fees The Web Shack invoices you are our management fee. All customers have to add their own credit card details to Google Ads in order for us to specify your monthly ad spend. Google does not allow EFT payments anymore like they used to, so we at The Web Shack feel it is safer that our Google Ads customers add their own credit card on Google Ads. Please note, Google is a very secure platform and we are very strict on customer budgets, so you do not have to worry about any security risks.
Definitely, you will start seeing more hits to your website as soon as your ad is up and running, and then it is our job to tweak your account to make those hits into leads.
Every month we schedule all of your Social Media posts on Hootsuite, after being viewed and accepted by you. Once you are happy with the content, we schedule posts for articular days to go out onto all your chosen social media platforms.
You may either use your own account, and add your own budget or we can add the budget from our end and simply upload the budget to your monthly invoice. If you choose to add your own budget, we will just need to have admin rights to your account.
SEO is an incredibly organic system. As a result, the SEO process normally takes around 3 to 6 months, to start showing you results. With this said, SEO is definitely worth it, in the long run.
